Fiscal Sponsorship Explained

If you have a charitable idea but feel overwhelmed by forming a nonprofit, Model A fiscal sponsorship can be the right on-ramp.

Under Paramount Impact's Model A program, your project becomes a program of our 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible under our EIN, funds sit in a dedicated subaccount, and you direct mission work while we maintain legal control and compliance oversight.

Typical stack: dedicated bank account via Crowded / i3 Bank, optional debit card, receipt portal, quarterly narrative reporting, and support letters when you apply for foundation grants under our name and EIN.

Review is usually 3–5 business days. After the agreement is signed, banking can open within 1–2 business days — so many projects accept donations within about two weeks of approval.
